The representative office of national company “KAZAKH INVEST” in China participated at the Forum "Kazakhstan Mining Investment Promotion Conference". Forum was held within the framework of the 24th China Mining Conference and Exhibition (CHINA MINING 2022).

The event is organized by the Xi'an Geological Survey Center of China Geological Survey(CGS), which is also the Geoscience Cooperation Research Center of "China - SCO" (China - Shanghai Cooperation Organization).
The event was attended by representatives of more than 35 major mining and geological companies of China, a total of more than 100 people participated in the event in a hybrid format.
Kuanysh Amantay, the general representative of "KAZAKH INVEST" in China presented to the participants the investment climate of the Republic of Kazakhstan, privileges and preferences and measures of state support for foreign investors, as well as the investment potential of the mining and metallurgical industries of our country.
Eldar Tagash, acting Chairman of the Board of “Kazgeology” JSC, Daniyar Myrzahmetov, Director of Investment and Marketing Department of “Tau-Ken Samruk”, Timur Issayev, President of “Ulmus Besshoky” JSC, also made presentations at the event. Kazakh participants presented potential investment projects in the field of geology, mining and processing of mineral resources.
From the Chinese side, Ma Zhongping, Deputy Chief Geologist of the Xi'an Center of CGS & Secretary-General of China-SCO Geoscience Cooperation Research Center, and Ma Liang, Director of Business Development Dept, CGNPC Uranium Resources Co., Ltd of China General Nuclear Power Corporation” presented their activities and prospects for cooperation.
As a result of the event, the parties held additional “online” meetings to discuss potential cooperation.
